Armor For Sleep and Built To Spill for me.

Just caught BTS’s show last night.

 

He almost died, car wreck I think. Medically induced coma for a while, seems like he was in a wheelchair for a while after that. Most people assumed he wouldn’t return to music at all.

Here's the gofundme. It was a bad ATV accident. He had some really terrible injuries and its pretty fucking awesome to see him back at it now. Sad I'll miss them at Furnace Fest this year but something came up. That set will be absolutely insane.

Excited to check out new Holy Fawn, Mike Adams, and The Midnight later.

And jamming lots of Motion City since I'm seeing them tonight!

Armor For Sleep album was a massive disappointment for me on first listen.

 

It's a Chorus member? Sweet! That's double enough reason for me to listen. All I needed to perk my interest was the Bojack Horseman reference with the band name

Armor for Sleep and Rocky Votolato for me. Plus new Maylene and I can't stop listening to the new Tigers Jaw song.

 

A pretty big day and I'm so glad to see the original calendar expanded and there's some more thought put behind it, cool! Still always gonnna skim through the thread for the recs though, listening to @Chase Tremaine single and it's so good, great vocals. Got through Armor For Sleep 3 times already, excited for Holy Fawn, Built To Spill and Rocky Votolato!

 

aaand here's my recommendation, always so strong! Aaron Marsh introduced me to Angie through their collab on her first EP, this is going to be quite different (I'm yet to listen to it in its full with the 2 songs I haven't heard when I get some time to focus)
