I'd love to eat crow, but I think this past week showed that the Orioles are not quite ready for the playoffs yet even with the expanded wild card spot. They were so close to Toronto, and botched this series pretty badly and I don't see how they recover now to squeak in. Still immensely proud of the season they've had, and I will be rooting for some slip ups, but if there ever was a moment to seize the momentum and turn it from a maybe, into a 'holy shit, the magics real', this was it and they just fell short. (4.5 back now).

  12. Agreed, I just don't see them gaining 5 games on TOR over the final 25 or so games unless they manage to go 5-1 in the remaining head to head matchups. Still a hell of a season and I'm excited to see how the rest of it plays out.

There’s a lot of guys who over-performed this year and some of their young pitchers who have struggled (Bradish especially) gave them a lifeline against Houston & Cleveland. Hoping they make a signing or two next year. Their infield looks like it could be one of the best in the league once Henderson gets more comfortable.

Nothing will improve the game of baseball more than a pitch clock and I will continue to die on that hill

Big fan of the pitch clock as a regular uneducated minor league baseball goer.

Another disgusting lineup but 3B Isaiah Kiner Brooks Robinson and SS Peraza is all I care about
