Yeah, he tore a muscle in the arm during a topé early in the match. Either a pec, tri or bicep. Dude can’t do any big spots without getting hurt. He was never a physical specimen like the other dudes in their 40’s who are working high level still.

not confirmed but Meltzdaddy and Alvarez have not heard anyone thats a legitimate source state that.

 

I mean, of course they didn't, they literally brought the company's legal counsel and the head of talent relations with them to discuss the issue.

Probably a reasonable argument to be made that they should have confronted Punk before Dynamite or in a separate meeting rather than the night of...but if you have your champ shooting like that, at some point somebody has to step in and say "hey, this is bad for everyone".

 

Punk just seems like a miserable person that will hold a grudge forever about the smallest things

Punk knowing he was done after the match and trying to start shit with Omega & The Bucks on his way out wouldn’t shock me. Dunno if he expected a brawl to happen but it wouldn’t surprise me if he instigated that too. I don’t understand the Colton part of this still because after watching the Hangman promo it looked more like him saying “ugh I have to drop the belt to this prick” than anything.

 

I don't think Punk was as calculated as we are making it seem. He just got back from injury and injured himself again, that would really piss anyone off, so he was in a shit mood afterwards to begin with.
