God, Ronaldo has aged so much in the last 6 months. Wonder if he regrets bailing on pre-season.

    hmmm

Suicidal line even if it's slightly off. Too risky.

ooooh Eriksen was off there, no?

Ah well. We’ve been terrible at the back and terrible on front of goal.

Don’t deserve anything from this playing like that.

Not off? Wow that was close. Eriksen has been brilliant for us, I'd absolutely love to see us with a more solid core with him doing bits out there.

Arteta needs to look at why we don’t turn up for big games.

    Oh god Maguire coming on.

Martinez holding his groin there. If he's injured, we're genuinely fucked

Maguire booked within a minute. This game is so fast I don’t really rate bringing a centre back on.

Casemiro just came on but looked to be laboring to track back there. Never really watched him play but did not look like fresh legs

Those substitutions have ruined us. No shape, no backline. No midfield.

I think that was just some shithousery. Both him and Rashford going down injured just as they're about to be taken off.

    uhhh that was dicey.

Ah well. Very poor performance overall. We remain top but it’s disappointing.

That game does show some of the downsides to 5 subs for managers. I understand what Arteta was trying, but by god it backfired on him.

This is one of those transfers that makes total sense in a way I can’t explain

It’s going to be incredibly interesting to see how teams handle Europe now for the next two months. Thursday-Sunday could break one of those teams

    hmmm

A good example of why Guardiola often keeps it as it is.

    It's all hell.

So frustrating. I totally appreciate why Arteta wanted to go for it after the second United goal, but that defensive line after the subs was suicidal.

  25. Thrillcollinz

    It's all hell.

Also wish they'd stop putting Gary Neville on commentary for United games. I genuinely think he's a great pundit when it comes to neutral games, but fucking hell was he grating.
