This is incredible, tbh. A monumental non-achievement. I sincerely believe that the Yankees know how to compete and that they are trying, but it almost doesn’t seem that way. These are some of the worst ABs I’ve seen. Plate discipline is as bad as it can get and no one seems phased by it. I don’t know how half of them aren’t throwing coolers up and down the dug out on a regular basis. They don’t seem phased or frustrated at all (aside from Boone’s press conference recently). They have major “trust the process” energy that last place teams tell themselves, fans, and the media to help them cope with how embarrassing they’ve been.
