  1. is Hatching a good “midnight” movie or is it less crazy than I want it to be?

  2. Damn The Ruins kinda rules lol not often you find a mid-2000s gem. Kinda like a Shyamalan flick but way more brutal

Yea I’ll get to the hatching at some point. Is there more to it than what’s in the trailer?.. because it seemed to show entirely too much.

Freaky was great. Also just did Jaws in 3D at Regal and dammit if it isn’t the perfect film

The local Chicago theatre Music Box is doing a Stephen King festival this weekend and my fiancée and I are seeing a 40th anniversary showing of Creepshow tonight with a Greg Nicotero Q&A afterwards for my birthday.

The third act of bodies lmaooooo

  16. Saw Bodies last night. It was a good time. Entire theater was empty except for me and my friend, though. Would've been fun to see it with a crowd, but I won't complain too much with covid still around.

also I thought Hatching was great, but the first 45 minutes or so was so so good that the second half is kind of a let down

  19. Maybe I'll do that one tonight. Trying to figure out a good triple-feature.

  20. Also The Crazies was good! Not as polished or thoughtful as Dawn of the Dead, obviously, but I just love Romero and that borderline documentary feel he brings to his films. The humor, too, despite how dark it is at times. Love how much he shot and set his films in Pennsylvania.
