A very "styles make fights" match, this. Villa have been awful this season due to teams exposing their narrow shape in the wide areas but Man City have sat into it so far.

I know Digne was highly rated at Everton, but I genuinely can’t get over how fucking terrible both sides of the pitch are for Villa. Surely they should have done something to address that over the summer.

Sevilla have been so bad this season. but fuck me Gavi is a star. FDJ really should have left Barca because no way he’s getting into that team at full strength

 

I think once the cup games and UCL starts, the rotation will be a lot more varied. But yeah, Gavi is some feisty kid with a ton of tenacity and talent to back it up.

 

Yeah FDJ’s a quality back up haha. Embarrassment of midfield riches. But he doesn’t really bring what Gavi has been bringing to the Barca team.

 

I think he brings something between Busquets and Pedri. The midfield six are so good. It’s kinda nice to have to worry about which ones aren’t playing enough…

 

I really want to go back to Seville. I think seeing both a home game for Sevilla and Betis would be a ton of fun.
