my guess is they’re doing it this way because most of the students seem to be less willing to physically give up the phone. So this way they keep the phone on them all day, even though they can’t use it

What are y'all thinking with new boosters? Apparently some CVSs are already doing them as of this afternoon. Any reason to wait? (Am I misremembering that there was a "better" moderna one not expected to be approved until November?)

 

I’ve gotten my wires crossed on this a lot lately, so I’m not even sure. But if I remember correctly, the ones just approved are a mix of original Wuhan-strain spikes and b.5 spikes, whereas the ones rumored to be ready by October I think are supposed to be half b.1 (original omicron) and half b.5….but with all the focus shifting to these ones the last few weeks I’m not even sure what the status is now

My only thought is my brain automatically feels like flu shot and booster once a year , which would be Dec, feels right, plus it's been less than 6 months since I had it

Yeah, I'm thinking December as well: right before the holidays, likely to be a case increase then, and would be exactly six months since my next booster. After that, I guess it depends on the current state of COVID, but I wouldn't mind settling into an annual "get flu-COVID shot at the same time" routine
