About halfway through White Album. It feels pretty faceless to me. Which I guess for someone works in its favor for someone who typically doesn't like Weezer. Nothing is really grabbing me though. I keep having to remind myself I'm trying to listen to something for the first time. Gonna see it through though and finish

The verdict is still: not for me. But I do understand the appeal to White Album at least

The White Album never really did it for me that much either. Feels like Weezer without the charm and fun.

 

"Wind in Our Sails," "Do You Wanna get High?," "(Girl We Got a) Good Thing?" Not fun??

I was going to say, that album is a blast. "Summer Elaine & Drunk Dori" is a blast too.

I don't really remember what any of those songs sound like haha. It's a decent album but just washes over me and leaves no real impression.

 

As good as white is I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel a bit soulless to me so I def get the more tepid opinions.

Two albums that are pretty close in quality, makes sense.
