Man don’t know how I feel about the Cavs trade. Probably just get too attached to players that have to work through the shit years only to be shipped off when they’re turning the corner.

Tony Jones reported that the Jazz were gonna accept an offer from the Knicks this weekend that was significantly worse than the Cavs deal. Then the Knicks got cute and lowered their offer even more and that's when Jazz/Cavs talks rekindled.

 

Shams said they removed a pick or something. Their final offer was RJ/Quickley and 2 unprotected firsts

 

Really excited for this season and can’t wait to get NBA League Pass and just be able to throw on a random game almost every night for months on end.

Excited about the Mitchell trade, all things considered. Small forward is still an issue, but for small market teams players of Mitchell’s talent, age, and team control don’t come available often so you make the trade and figure the rest out later, including Mobley’s rookie extension or signing him to a 5-year deal.

I think you start Okoro at the three and hope he has taken a leap. Lavert seems ideal in a bench scorer’s role with Love and eventually Rubio. If Okoro doesn’t stick in the starting role I think you have to start Cedi there. Also not ideal. Being only a couple million under the tax it will limit the outside possibilities.

I think this year is about integrating Mitchell and continuing to develop. Get some playoff experience along the way. And then hit on your last first round pick for a while and find some value contracts in free agency.
