Me and 3 friends chipped in for the Woodstock 99 PPV and literally camped out in my parents living room for 72 hours straight watching it day and night

 

Oh my god thank you to the people in here repeating the Abbott Elementary recommendation. I’m through the first four episodes and it’s so damn good. I do have one question so far. Did some episodes get shifted around? Because this fourth episode definitely felt like it was supposed to be the second one.

not that I’m aware of but I didn’t binge it so I might not have noticed. wouldn’t be surprised if the network shuffled them though.

 

I guess I only noticed because Janine stops Greg in the hallway with this “oh hey!” like they haven’t interacted at all and then asks how he’s adjusting to the new school and he keeps mentioning that he feels like he’s just there to be a substitute and play movies. Seemed like Greg and Janine didn’t have the established relationship they had from the previous two episodes and Greg didn’t have the developing relationship with his students from the previous episode. Episode was still solid but it definitely had me wondering for a minute.

 

I haven't watched the show, but I looked at Wikipedia just out of curiosity from your post. Looks like you're correct though, episode 4 has it's production code as the second episode, everything else aired the same

The two episodes that are on AMC+ are leaving in two weeks too, so soon it won't be on there are all. I don't get this strategy at all.

 

The strategy is to make people buy them. It’s annoying to customers but they will make money off of it.

That finale was really weird. Trying to figure out if this is something that will go more than a miniseries

It’s a weird show for sure. It feels like maybe they haven’t really nailed a certain tone yet? And a few of the characters are a little inconsistent. I think the complaints about it not being all that compelling are valid, but it definitely feels like the kind of show where time will reward its viewers. The delivery is maybe not there yet but the bones of it feel very intentional
