i really liked the level design of Origins from what i played. i bounced off it because of the level system. seems a good game though.

 

I am a giant sucker for any game that’s based in a desert environment.

 

fans of Valhalla that also played Tsushima. which did you enjoy more? i just got both towards the top of my short backlog.

 

Tsushima is a different tier of game compared to Valhalla, and that’s from someone who enjoys the recent AC games for what they are. Writing, performances, story, art design, combat, etc. are all on a different level in Tsushima’s favor.

 

Tsushima and it’s not even close.

and I say this as someone who loves the new AC games and doesn’t even like Tsushima as much as most.

 

Hah, I do love the Borderlands and Fallout games, but prefer when there's more variety in their environments. Can't be ALL desert.

interesting. the map seems more robust in Valhalla, like you got towns and caves and stuff. and then in Tsushima you just got a bunch of bandit camps strewn about. the combat def looks more to my liking in Tsushima.

the art direction, the story, the controls, the atmosphere, the sheer technical quality of the game, also Tsushima is more streamlined.

My only gripe I have with Tsushima that it overstayed it’s welcome for me personally.

Valhalla’s soundtrack blows almost everything away though.

 

Ubisoft leaks so hard and so much it is starting to feel intentional.

 

damn i had to mute the in game music 1 hr in bc the moaning vocalist on constant loop. i thought that was a very strange decision.

 

so weird I had a bunchy really spaced out Jasper Kydd tracks wtf haha

 

Love Zeus going "That was just the prologue?" also just now realizing how big Immortals Fenix Rising is and so excited to dive into this world. With Hades leaving Gamepass it kinda feels like I traded one Greek gods game for another haha

 

This is a fine reminder that I need to knuckle down and play Origins

This is really, really bad. I’ve tried to remain optimistic but Jeeze. Season 2 is going to end up being 10 months

I was willing to give them the benefit of doubt and thought the campaign on Infinite was good. But yeah, three strikes and you’re out. Give the IP to Id or even MachineGames. Phil, you know it must be done.
