Not gonna spoil myself but that sounds like a dream collab

I really hope there's a new project coming before the tour with these two singles on it, even if it's not Vol 2

So this is the run up to a new album, right? I feel like they're dropping too many new songs for them not to be collected somewhere.

    Die rad.

Just curious and I think I'm basically the only one, buttttt
Has anyone else lost interest in the Gorillaz once Plastic Beach dropped? When the self titled album dropped in 2001 it was an instant classic for me. Soundtrack to my senior year. And Demon Days was much different, but a beautiful album and musically their best. Was so pumped when PB was announced, but the album was very disappointing. I did enjoy Humanz MUCH more, but didnt have much replay value after six months. Now Now had some decent stuff. Didnt pay much attention to Song Machine. And this new album has no one Ive even heard of except Beck...may be my age talking??

I would rather listen to the self titled, demon days, the fall, and deltron 3030's 1st album more than any recent gorillaz stuff.

rant over. i suck, i know.

You've never heard of Stevie Nicks, frontwoman of Fleetwood Mac?? Or Tame Impala, one of the biggest rock acts of the past decade? Or Bad Bunny, who tours baseball stadiums and has one of the top selling albums of 2022? Damn you need to get out more haha

IMO Plastic Beach and Song Machine are both fantastic. Humanz is a great album that unfortunately is a little too bloated. The Now Now is the only album I thought was disappointing, but even that has some great tunes.

Yea, forgot about Stevie. Seeing her in 3 weeks actually. But nope on Tame or Bunny. Havent turned on a radio in a decade. Like I said, could be my age showing. They really cant be that big.

"They really can't be that big"....Bad Bunny just performed two sold out concerts at Yankee Stadium last week, and has the number one album in the country! And Tame Impala have been the biggest rock act since 2016 and have headlined countless festivals, as well as selling out 2 nights at Barclays Center on their most recent tour and 2 nights at MSG on the tour before that. My point being, they're both leaps and bounds bigger than Gorillaz lol

Nah, bands like Foo Fighters, Metallica, Pearl Jam, possibly Jack White are what keeping rock alive still. All could sell out 2 nights at Barclays. I mean, Rage sold out 5 nights in a row at MSG 3 weeks ago.

And Snoop Dogg is way more recognizable and famous then any artist on this record and he was on a Gorillaz track.
