She did an interview around the release of Bloodline and at that time she had no set plans. But I wouldn't be surprised if she writes for Star Wars again. I personally hope it's sooner than later. Lost Stars was so not on my radar when I heard it was YA, and damn was I wrong. It was the best new canon book for awhile for me. And Bloodline was so so good. Loved being with Leia for so much since she had such a small role in TFA.

Ah okay. Lost Stars didn't even feel like YA to me. Definitely loved the Leia storyline, too. Really impressed with both books.

I mean, I don't read a lot of modern YA, so I don't know why I was so put off when it was announced as a YA book. I guess I just flashed to books like Twilight? I dunno. Plus I initially found the idea of lovers on different sides of the war set during the OT as odd. Whatever the reason, I wrote it off upon its announcement. But then it came out and got an amazing response so I had to check it out. She handled it existing during the OT perfectly. So well done.

Yeah I don't either, it was just recommended to me and it was one of, if not, the first Star Wars books I had read.

Interesting place to start. But it kind of works. It introduces new characters and planets but is mostly set during familiar events with familiar faces popping in here and there.

    Keep on the sunny side.

Lost Stars was great. I really got to know those characters, and there were some epic tie ins to TFA along with some major events from the original trilogy seen from a different perspective.. I haven't started Bloodlines yet, but it's next up after this stack of comics.

That Thrawn trilogy is still great. Although there's a ton of material to get through in the new canon, some of those legends books are still worth the read...especially when some of the best characters make their way to the new canon.

Let me know how you like Bloodline when you get to it!

I haven't been posting in here near enough lately.
. I feel pretty confident it's sana. Especially with lucasfilm working saw gerrera into rogue one. When you think about it, there are a good amount of options for storylines in this movie.

. I'm sure she will, but not sure how soon.

Will do! I might skip the comic run this week to get back into a novel.

Just finished Aftermath: Life Debt a few days ago. I enjoyed it a lot more than the first book. Having Han and Leia in it a majortiy of the book helped. Really looking forward to the Thrawn book coming out in April.

Also thought the Rebels episode was great. Just started reading Lords of the Sith last night. Looking forward to getting through that.

It's pretty good. I haven't thought about ranking the new stuff for awhile. I think the past few have been phenomenal. And Lost Stars is still something special. I haven't read much of the comics at this point.

Rebels is easily my favorite non movie stuff at this point.

    Ezra's new hair is dumb.

Dave Filoni is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't on this point I really believe. So many people hated the original hair and now that they trimmed it he's getting the same mixed reactions. It's such a minor point though that I couldn't really care less either way.

It's basically a buzz cut. People seriously have a problem with that? Geez.

But it doesn't even look like a buzz cut. It almost looks like lego hair or something. But yeah I don't really care. It's just funny.

So anyways... Filoni is now supervising the animation department at Lucasfilms while they start on a new animated series. Any thoughts as to what it'll be? Feels like Rebels may not last more than four seasons.

It's just taking a razor with like a 3 and buzzing the head. It couldn't get any more basic without buzzing it all the way down.

It's such a dumb thing to complain about. I hadn't really seen anyone bring it up until the post above.

Finished Lords of the Sith. Really enjoyed it! Once I get through the two books I need to focus on now, I'll likely return to reading more of these. Tarkin might be next.

It's hard to guess since there's so many stories they could cover. But if I had to, I'd go with one of these three:

    1. Han & Chewie series
    2. Old Republic
    3. Bounty Hunters

I could maybe see something following Resistance characters between episode 8 and 9, but that will depend the the time gap between the two movies. Maybe something between ROTJ and TFA as well. An Old Republic series would be my vote, it would be the most likely to give us some fresh new characters. A bounty hunter series could be interesting as well, as it could have a little more freedom to explore the universe outside of force users.

Another strong episode of Rebels. I really love what they're doing with Maul, he's gone from just that cool looking badass guy in Episode I to real character with strong motivations.

To anyone else who has seen the latest episode, who/what do you think Maul was referring to when he says "He lives" at the end? I feel like it could be Obi-wan. At first I thought he was seeing that Vader was Annikan, but Maul and Annikan don't have much a history. I'm also wondering if it was him seeing a future in which he dies and Ezra/Kanan defeat him.
