Yeah, going to need at least one epic stars-on-a-clear-night guitar solo like the one in that song.

At 4am I awoke from my phone going off with texts and I was so confused thinking someone died. I open it up to see my wife, who is in the bed next to me, sending me all the details of this new album and she has the biggest smile I’ve ever seen haha

I hope this isn’t another AntonoffxSwift production but based off the very much Some Nights looking album art…

  6. I’d prefer it to be mostly Jack than mostly Aaron again (again)

We reach for the longest shadow

I haven't been disappointed in a TSwift album since Reputation so I'm sure this will be great no matter who she's working with.

Agree to disagree friend. There are definitely some songs I like, even love, but the overall product is a step down in my book.

I mostly just like to jokingly post about it when people talk down on it because I love it. I get why a lot of Swifties don't rank it high, but it saddens me. It's some of the most fun work in her catalog.

I’ve definitely come around on reputation. It was definitely the most ripe for re evaluation. I think Lover was also underrated by a lot of pubs when it dropped, outside of a couple duds that’s one of her best imo.

my guess is this will be a pretty big turn back to arena filling pop anthems ala 1989. But just a hunch.

Lover's sequencing does it no favors. I have a couple of friends resequence it with their own Spotify playlists and the experience is so much better.

If it wasn't Jack or Aaron, who else would be a match that could push her into a new direction? Not a TS fan but I'd be interested in hearing her do something very left field, kind of like how Halsey worked with Trent Reznor.

Mark Ronson could be a good match for a chill, night-inspired, pop record for her.

I wonder if Taylor would ever work with Finneas. Not saying I want a whole album of that collab, but I'd be interested in seeing what a song or two would sound like.

  16. Reputation and Lover are easily my two least favorites haha

antonoff does phenomenal work with her, no reason to be disappointed if he’s producing smh

Antonoff did the best stuff on folklore, IMO.

Ah what awesome news to wake up to!

I've learned my lesson too many times with Taylor vinyl. Wait another month and I'm sure a Target exclusive will pop up for half the price lol

i can't handle another "Target Red" variant for an album whose aesthetic is clearly anything but that color, lol

After all that weird criticism after Folklore, I hope new indie artist Taylor Swift goes full send and gets Will Yip.
