On a train that departs for 17 hours at 5PM eastern. I have Stardew Valley ready to go on my OLED switch, I feel like thats a good ‘train game’

They are cool for about the first hour and then after that you are saying to yourself: “the extra money to fly was TOTALLY worth it”

But you have to do what you have to do.

Commuting to and from work is a different story.

 

trains are so much better than planes. you just show up 5 mins before you leave and walk on the train, none of the TSA bullshit.

idk man, flying is an all-around pretty awful experience, you gotta pay for $14 drinks just to make it tolerable

 

I’ve been flying long enough to know how to make a stress free experience. But yes, to a newbie they should provide a free dose of Xanax with every flight.

Plus my buddy works for Jet Blue and has given me a ton of tips and tricks.

 

the time between boarding and taking off makes flying almost unbearable. if you could walk right on a plane and it takes off 2 minutes later and it was less cumbersome to navigate the aisles it would be as good as a train.

 

Yeah flying and airports suck, we can’t all fly first class like you NJ!


I usually fly but I am heading home to New Jersey for good so i’m taking an autotrain that carries my car as well from Orlando to Virginia.

 

As a generally bigger dude as well, holllyyyyy fuck coach seats are awful, airlines dont give a fuck about your experience in coach. They just try to find new ways to pack more people in at the same time.

 

I take a subway to the city for shows because I hate driving down there, does that count?

 

Navigating through airports is pretty dreadful. Flying is fine, though.

I can’t attest if it’s any better on a train but sheesh. Gotta basically cut my legs off on a plane

Dude this train i’m currently on has tons of room, I am especially lucky though because theres no one sitting next to me. If there was this ride would suck incredibly more. Not even an armrest between seats!!

 

Imo, 6'6 is not a humblebrag. This world wasnt made for people that tall. 6'2 is tall enough, anything more is just a pain
