I dare to hope this gives us a new Legacy Of Kain. I'll even take a remake of the original. Imagine Blood Omen redone in the style of Elden Ring? Oh man.

I don’t know what the status is in 2022, they keep opening and closing their video game divisions, but last I remember hearing is that there is one in existence currently? But I haven’t been paying close attention to video game news lately either

They’ve had knick knack Disney games here or there but it’s mainly other companies working with their IP. Having EA could let them keep it in-house and have broader control on how their IP is handled, they already have a business relationship together so it makes sense if they decided to join forces.
