I realize it’s the whole point of the competition, but some of these pot 3 teams don’t feel very pot 3 haha

  4. think i’d be picking marseille over frankfurt as the second D team

Such a tough group to pick because I could even see a case being made for Sporting as well.

  6. I'm going to assume the price is more than what we'd pay

I really want to win this. Looking at the other teams in it, on paper you would say we are the strongest until some of the CL teams drop in.

Interesting draw though. I think our group is pretty hard tbh.

  12. I’d say right now the favorites are Arsenal, Roma, United in that order. But it’ll be interesting once someone like Barca drop into it.

Supposedly La Liga registered Kounde today because, even though nothing had changed financially yet (since Umtiti and Collado are on loan, but we’re paying their wages still), they could see Barca was trying. The league specific FFP is baffling to try and understand, haha.

It’s looking like the Memphis to Juventus deal has collapsed, Braithwaite is taking a payout to terminate his contract, and Auba to Chelsea and Alonso from Chelsea are held up in the final stages.

I’m hoping very much that next summer isn’t such a cluster. I think this is he last truly circus window, but I’ll get my clown makeup ready just in case.

This is exactly the sort of signing I expected Newcastle to start making immediately, so I’m curious what next summer will look like for them as they build more of a foundation.

  16. Gil loan to Valencia has been verbally agreed to but we won’t make it official until we find a replacement. No clue who to expect as the replacement.

Guardiola's already said Haaland won't play midweek games and he'll start Alvarez if there's three games in a week. Hopefully this is the start of him being less of a bald fraud.

    Midweek league or midweek UCL???

  21. Are the mid-week matches next week considered week 4 for fantasy?

Feel like this is an overpay but at least he is only 22. Had a really good 20/21 season but a fall off last season.

    No idea there!

No. The midweek matches are considered GW5.

there’s an easy layup here about Grealish

Can not argue with that one, though some of that Grealish overpay is the English player/English international tax.
