I was thinking the same thing

really feel for the kid after he's probably been sick of hearing all of those types of injury concerns from pundits etc

That really sucks about chet. my rose colored glasses take is that hopefully a year of nba nutrition and weight training can build his frame a bit.

a 6'2 QB for the Panthers also suffered a Lisfranc injury so it's not *just* about height

but foot injuries are kinda freaky

Chet guarded Lebron for one drive to the basket and now he’s out for the season.

They also cannot trade him to the Heat as long as Bam is still on the roster. Soooo Knicks it is!

And poor Chet. I feel like foot injuries tend to linger, too, so this could be even worse for him.

In fairness to Chet I’m not sure the big man/foot injury is that fair given he weighs under 200 lbs

it is given he got it being backed down by someone (who isn't even a big) which was the concern everyone has had since day 1, that he would get hurt getting out-muscled by the embiids/giannises (???) of the league

  21. StepsInADance

    so much for them! Prestigious

he can be traded to the heat because it only counts against rookie contracts given to players you traded for. bam was drafted by the heat so they can still take in another designated rookie contract. that being said i dont think ainge has any interest in the package we're offering.

Oh, you're right. I forgot that detail.

Miami's culture is probably best-suited to make up for the fact that Mitchell is a negative defender, but I imagine Ainge is more interested in picks than players so it's probably gonna be NY in the end.
