not to say this should only have people participating that have done so in every thread. that would be boring. we had more voters on both sides for this matchup than almost all the others, including the ones this week. y’all should participate more!

they get stickied to the top of the Music Forum mondays and thursdays, though in a few weeks we'll be down to few enough albums that i think im gonna leave them up monday - sunday. probably once we get to the Round of 8.

 

I’ll try to jump in. I know it’s weird given the site this is and why I started posting in the first place, but I kind of don’t go in the music forum much? I’m subbed to major threads of the bands I jam and so they just come up in my notifications. I don’t really go into the forum itself. It’s odd.

 

I will continue to rise to the occasion for my guys in Jimmy Eat World and soil my diapers as a result

Legitimately shocked by this vote result but Bleed American is pretty badass too, I suppose.

 

I think everyone really knows which album is more important historically. Both albums are great, but there is like a 10 year difference in when these albums were released so lots of people don’t realize the impact made, and it’s not like the Nirvana crowd is campaigning for them like the Jimmy fans.

If a poll is which album do you like or listen to more, than on this site Jimmy will win. As I said before, I listen to Bleed American more, but Smells like Teen Spirit and Nevermind changed everything kicking down doors for so many future bands. It’s kind of a hard comparison.

 

One album had a huge impact on music and I was too young to be around for the full experience but I enjoy the album a lot. One came out right when I got super into music and became one of my all time favorite bands to this day. So yea, it’s an “easy” choice for what I prefer. Both rule though. We are all winners for getting to listen to both.
