Yeah, this album is going to be incredible.

 

Song is crazy good, love the verse melody and the chord progression is bliss, there’s a better audio quality version on their subreddit

 

I’m not gonna listen to it all the way through for fear of ruining it for myself like I did with Too Shy but I listened through the first chorus and that’s awesome

(I overlistened to the live version of Too Shy before Notes dropped and was extremely disappointed when the studio track had a slightly different chorus melody and was missing the funk guitar in the prechorus)

I'm in love with you is very Mary Chapin Carpenter

 

"I’m In Love with You" seems to have a pretty simple song structure, and is fairly repetitive. Kind of another version of "Happiness"

 

But no denying this band is on their way to becoming the biggest in the world

 

Feels like BFIAFL is going to rightsize that ship after Notes

 

I agree; if Happiness and I'm In Love With You are any indication, these more simple structures will make the songs easier to understand and sing along to, making them bigger earworms, which should create more traction with new and old fans alike, propelling the band even higher

 

I think they realized they needed to drop an album of bangers to cement their legacy. It also helps that they’re in the same circles now as Jack, Phoebe, Charli

 

Setlist is wild.

Was really hoping for fragile :/ I love couldn’t be more in love as well

 

I Couldn’t Be More In Love was truly something when I caught them in 2019. An absolute gem on that album

 

Can’t wait to hear the studio version of this new song with the production quality of the two singles
