This Panic album is hot garbage. One or two songs at most that are worth re-listening to. Sadly not digging the Silversun Pickups album either. :(

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why Panic is just Brandon for the last few albums? I’m sure ex-members have said things but I haven’t read anything about why everyone in the band is gone. I just got done listening to the new album and the lyrics bugged me how he kept saying “we” when referring to the band.

In a huge twist, the awful singles that were released the past few weeks actually WERE the best tracks on the panic album. Just wow.

"The band's second album, Pretty. Odd. (2008), was preceded by the single "Nine in the Afternoon". That album marked a significant departure from the sound of the band's debut. Ross and Walker, who favored the band's new direction, departed because Urie and Smith wanted to make further changes to the band's style. Ross and Walker subsequently formed a new band, the Young Veins, leaving Urie and Smith as the sole remaining members of Panic! at the Disco."

"After recording four albums with the band, [Smith] announced his departure from Panic! on April 2, 2015 via the band's official website, citing a need to settle his drug issues."

It’s like that episode of South Park where Stan listens to the band he used to like and it just sounds like fart sounds.

Tyler Hubbard - Dancin' In The Country

He's the main singer from Florida Georgia Line and it's his first EP. Really like the project and title track.

He does still have a live band, which is also clear within the sound of that new album he would treat it as such and use "we" just fine. I'm almost done listening to it though and it's not great, all the singles are stacked at the beginning and later there's just more of the same.

Excited to listen to new Mountain Goats, but I need to wait for after work and get the lyrics too.

    Stacked ass release day!

New Spite, Demi, Orthodox, and the Alpha Wolf split will be on repeat most of today.

also that new Movements single is super different for them but I kinda dig it.

Why does "Don't Let the Lights Go Out" sound like a "Last Christmas" rip-off? ...I'm struggling with what to even make of this Panic album. I feel like the entire thing wreaks of arrogance from what I got through before taking a break.

Panic has always been pretty experimental from album to album, unfortunately the "experimental sound" for this record seems to be 'bad rip off of Late 70s rock'

I'm sure something will show up on my radar that I'm not aware of. The Berries only popped up for me because they're on Run For Cover, and I tend to give everything on RFC a once over.
