Yeah I can completely understand why the band is not in a rush and nor should they be at this point anyway.

I only selfishly want new stuff new tour because Nine was a great place to leave off, but I'm hungry again.

Kung Fu Records was bought out by Cleopatra. I think Buddha was released on Kung Fu so now it falls under that umbrella.

Brent it’s been three years

 

It’s their best album in 19 years

 

Doing a reverse listen through the Blink discography and my thoughts so far California still holds up as a perfect Summer in the car album, there are some good moments on Deluxe, but a lot of it is pretty forgettable.

I like Nine, but when it came out I was going through a REALLY rough time with my job (in hindsight I realize now we had a psychologically abusive boss) and I just associate that album with that time since I typically put it on on the way home from work.

Moving into DED / Neighborhoods era now and I just can't tell if its because I've played the Feldmann stuff to death over the last few years, but I really love both of those albums & they have held up so well.

The first five minutes of this were incredibly infuriating lol. That woman interrupting them with attitude because they aren't answering the way she wants them to.

 

I watched this with a huge smile on my face

 

I've since added Nine to my Apple Music library and intend to finally listen to it on the train to Seoul this weekend. May do track by track thoughts on it while doing so.
