gaslight anthem get my vote. if the kendrick albums this round flipped, though, id probably vote for both of them over their matchups.

 

Interested to see how this one goes. I'd be fine with either winning

 

Two great albums. This is a tough one

 

Good Kid is probably my favorite Kendrick album, but It's not quite a "love" for me. And my love for The '59 Sound is obviously well-established at this point. Gaslight.

 

Wish the Kendrick albums flipped matchups honestly. ‘59 sound is one I enjoy a bit more and means more to me experience wise

 

'59 Sound is such an important album to me so it has to get my vote. Both great albums though.

If you asked me in my early 20s, I would choose 59 sound. Going with Kendrick here.

 

GKMC for me. Between that or Damn for my favorite Kendrick album. There's really only a few Gaslight Anthem songs that I'm super into. I tried giving more time to 59 Sound when they did the tour for it a couple years ago and it never really clicked

 

Was a DIE HARD Gaslight fan when it dropped but I haven’t returned to it in probably 5 years. Meanwhile I got into Kendrick with Butterfly and I still listen to all his music on a somewhat regular basis.

This shouldn’t even be close, GKMC by miles for me. Never really liked the ‘59 sound, listened to it a couple times to make sure cause of all the praise.

 

Mid tier hip hop album vs a slightly above average rock band. Edge Gaslight, but neither should be here

 

not exactly sure why a mediocre album would have this “obviously”/“by miles” but go off

I love like, the first 4 songs on ‘59 sound a lot a lot but I love gkmc the whole way through. Not a super close matchup for me even if peak gaslight is great.
