Only a month away! Y'all are welcome to throw questions my way if you have any. Excited to talk about it with people because I only have like one irl friend that listens to Alex G as much as I do haha.

 

if you give it to us we will all become your irl friends and then you will have many irl friends that listen to alex g.

 

How would you compare it to House of Sugar? Or I guess any previous Alex G releases? Similar vein of a healthy mix of indie guitar pop and sonic experimentation?

 

Definitely my most anticipated of the year. Singles have all been great.

 

Yeah, it does what every artist's new album should imo - blend what's worked previously while incorporating new elements. House of Sugar is probably my favorite at this point and I'd reckon this is on par. It's like the slightly more straightforward compositions of Rocket through the experimental effects filter of HOS. Big mix of normal vocals and pitched-up/down vocals.

 

Sounds like a nice continuation of Rocket. Loving it. Wish the album was out this week

 

One of his best songs, and one of my favorites on the album.

I don't know if @Craig Manning would like this record but he would definitely like this song and "Runner"

 

Huge fan of Alex G. I haven't been really into the other singles, but "Miracles" fucked me up today. One of my favorite songs he's ever written.

 

New song is incredible. Shaping up to be an AOTY contender
