I used to make meatloaf... dried thyme, Worcestershire, garlic powder, etc., in short--way too much.

Now I just buy 70/30 or 80/20 ground beef, form patties, season with a shit ton of salt, and sear them in a super hot cast iron skillet. Crack some pepper on them after the flip and I'm done.


Don't get me started on fixins.

 

Surface area is the most important aspect of burger making.
