Yes, considering who it is and what has happened with him/his family/the previous tour(s) and the comments people left on his SM pages.

Interesting, I never noticed that before so that is incredibly odd.

Never heard of it either but its located at 1978 Dundas St W in the Junction. Also looks to be closed Canadian Tire tile store on Google Streetview so should be an interesting one!

The East Coast dates being literally right after Thanksgiving is certainly a choice.

Ticket master is just absolute garbage when it comes to a seated venue. They do so many things wrong:

For 1975 (which I already got tickets for *phew*)
    - A huge amount of presale tickets are already up on the verified resale market. There should be a longer window before this is allowed.
    - The platinum thing is just bullshit. $49.50 presale tickets are now $109 in the platinum pricing because of 'demand' but because of the amount of resale tickets that pop up, it shows that the demand is fake...

Basically, ticket master does a presale, scalpers buy a lot so demand looks high, they set the price for the resale, and then Ticketmaster readjusts their prices to slightly undercut the secondary market. It's absolutely insane and crooked.

  6. You’re 100% right except it’s not just “scalpers” buying tickets, TM buys their own tickets as well to exacerbate it even more

    Things have changed.

More Oliver Tree shows are getting moved to smaller venues.

I saw that both Phoenix and Franz Ferdinand shows in Chicago were moved to venues half capacity of their original ones. I was surprised by that

Unfortunate, but a lot of these 2000's era indie bands need to team up to fill these venues nowadays. I'm pumped to see Spoon/Interpol, and if Franz teamed up with something similar I'm sure it'd do better than them solo.

  21. Pretty excited for FF tonight and hoping Pier 17 isn't as crowded as it sometimes gets!

Even when the Pier is sold out, it's still pretty easy to navigate. Drink lines on the other hand...get to be a problem.
