One thing that gives me a sliver of hope that maybe he could be in hot water is his insistence that evidence has been planted.

 

WorldPride is canceled in Taiwan because an organization would rather play by the rules of China (a country that has recently been notorious for human rights violations and discrimination against queer folks) over that of Taiwan (the only major Asian country that allows same-sex marriage and invited Audrey Tang into the top executive cabinet).

It’s stuff like this that is immeasurably baffling.

 

I think the absolute best case scenario (we're talking zenith of expectations) is that something sticks where he cannot run for president again (even that is farfetched to the highest level).

I am certain that Biden doesn't wanna set the precedent to send a former president to jail regardless of deserving for obvious reasons.

 

I'm basically at the point where not only am I certain he'll win in 2024, but am thinking we may be looking at a Trump hologram president after his death. Even if he was somehow miraculously jailed, I'm betting the GOP would figure a way for him to still President from his cell.

It’s so weird watching the reactions change. If he had classified nuclear info stolen, that’s a massive crime by any measure. If he was actually trying to sell it to Saudi Arabia, that’s the worst, most evil, most blatantly corrupt and criminal thing he could have possibly been doing. And if they already received it, and are building nukes, what the fuck are we even able to do about it?

If DeSantis runs they gotta have a conspiracy theory that he approved the FBI raid for personal gain or whatever. He probably did, Trump going down and not running is his only chance.
