I still remember seeing the music video for The Good Left Undone on TV. Had never heard of the band before. I was instantly hooked.

In fields where nothing grew but weeds
I found a flower at my feet
Bending there in my direction ♫

Still one of my favourite vocal performances from Tim.

Tim featured on the title track of Nathan Gray's new solo album.

I feel most RA fans here will already know of Boysetsfire, but in the unlikely event you don't, you should!

On doit jouer à domicile comme à la maison.

That is one terrible cover. And a horrible video too. Would have expected more with someone as politically minded as Tim involved

I don't think it's quite as terrible as the above, but I do think it's odd for two American bands to be covering Beds Are Burning when it's a very *specific* political song.

Not sure about this. This remix is missing almost all the good things from what made the original so good.

Goated album. Still their best. And that's saying something considering Sufferer and RPM are 10/10s.

One of my most nostalgic albums ever and probably still my favourite of theirs. So many underrated songs. Life Less Frightening, Tip the Scales, To Them These Streets Belong...

I've only heard Give It All from it live though which is a bummer since it's one of my least favourite songs on it. Would love to see it (the album) more prominently feature in their sets.

You might be too young, I have heard the opener and closer which both absolutely kill live plus Blood To Bleed, the singles (you haven't heard Swing Life Away??) and others.

The one I've always hoped to hear live but never have is Dancing For Rain. What a tune.

Yeah, I've only seen them on two shorter festival sets in 2013 which of course is one of the reasons. But I mean nowadays the songs besides Give It All, Swing Life Away and Dancing For Rain seems to be mostly forgotten.

I’ve seen blood to bleed, paper wings, dancing for rain, state of the Union, and of course swing life away and give it all. All live

I’ve also seen shit off of rpm and the unraveling. All since 2011

I’ve seen heaven knows, broken English, alive and well, everchanging, blood-red white blue, like the angel, voices off camera, black masks and gasoline, and faint resemblance

I got Heaven Knows and Like the Angel at my shows so I'm very happy for that!

Siren song still means so much to me, every song just goes so hard.

Glad I got to see them play most of the songs from Siren Song and the band in what most would consider their prime.

I’ve seen them play almost everything on Unraveling and RPM. I remember them playing Alive and Well twice the same night and their cover of Anyway You Want It. I also remember Tim saying “I will never be the guy wearing flip flops” for some reason lol.

But one of my favorite concert moments ever was seeing them open a show with ‘To Them These Streets Belong’.

Eventhough Tim isn’t a fan of the production on Siren Song, the songs and performances speak for themselves. To me, that was their breakout album and Sufferer only propelled them forward.

Last time I saw them live was this show…

  18. It remains their best for me and I always loved the production and how it stands out from the rest of their discography. The guitar tones in particular sound gritty for a punk rock album.

Man I would love to see all of those live one day. Maybe if I keep going to see them when them come around I'll get lucky. (Saw Give it all and Swing of course the last time I Saw them). The two off Siren I would kill to see live is "Rumors of My Demise..." and "First Drop".

I guess luckily when I saw them for the first time back last year for one of the first shows after quarantine lifted they played 4 off Nowhere Gen, so I consider myself lucky for that.

Prob about to go get a quick run in and listen to Siren...

I'm old enough to remember Punknews deciding Rise Against were the new best band in the world because they dropped State of the Union first. Then when the album came out the band were apparently sellouts.

For me, this album was so fresh. Heavy yet catchy, and basically all killer no filler. It really opened my mind up to a lot of new music. Looking back, not much of it can hold a candle to Siren Song.

RPM 20 year tour? I know it’ll never happen but I could only wish. I’d kill for a tour where they play a majority old stuff even if it wasn’t an album tour.
