I DO NOT like seeing 99% of bands in seats.

BUT The Fox is one of the coolest venues (specifically the ceiling art) I’ve ever been to.


But I still don’t want seats.

 

would be a great venue to see jason isbell at

 

I love the Fox but I thought everyone sounded legitimately bad that night. Stark contrast to the Ryman a couple of nights before which was probably the best sounding concert I’ve ever been to. Inaudible gave me chills.

 

Julien baker would be a cool artist to see on the stuffing

 

I think The Fox, because of the design, can hurt sound depending on where you’re seated.

 

Front row middle sounded great every year. The one year I was third row far left in like 2018, all I heard was Rob’s guitar the entire evening.

 

That checks out. We saw Paramore there and sat center balcony about 15-20 rows back and it sounded great.

 

I noticed Petey is opening up for MO on a few dates this fall.

I just found out about him this weekend and now I cannot stop listening to him.

 

Petey is soooo good

 

Fastly becoming obsessed. Noticed he's doing a headlining show in Cleveland, and it's already sold out three and a half months out. Crazy. Hoping it gets moved to a bigger venue.

 

Had to look up who Petey was and I had no idea that guy made music. I like his weird little sketches on Instagram/TikTok but never delved into his whole thing.

Personally not into the Social Media sketches and I’m not sure why he doesn’t promote his music via social media so I’m not really understanding his background/motive but the music is great, haha.

 

It appears he does promote his music more on Instagram (he’s not on Twitter anymore). I don’t know about Tik Tok because I wouldn’T be caught dead on Tik Tok. But this article below talks about his social media blowing up more so because of the sketches rather than the music (and how he was hesitant posting music)

Now learning from that article that Petey used to drum for Young Jesus and I just started listening to them a few days ago.
