not a huge fan of either, but i dont outright hate aeroplane

 

Love both but NMH a lot more.

 

acting like ITAOTS isn’t a massively beloved album is a bafflingly odd take

 

I think Golden Hour would’ve given either of these a run for their money and maybe even won tbh, but it’s not really a hypothetical worth dwelling on. In the canon of AP/Chorus both of these records have earned their fighting chance as much as any other

I lol’d when I saw this matchup. Obviously aeroplane, probably a top 3 of all time for me.

 

Blink all the way. Untitled was so influential on 16 year old me. NMH made a great album too but it's not even close.

 

After revisiting both of these albums for the first time in a long time, I think I actually made the wrong call. Enjoyed Untitled a lot more than I remembered, and found Aeroplane to be kind of grating. Oh well.

 

My take is that blink s/t is Special for this scene and community. But Aeroplane is just plain Special.

 

Untitled means way too much to me not to vote for it.

Spent some time with Aeroplane. While this was unquestionably the most positive attempt I’ve had with this record, I don’t think it’s outweighs the impact the Blink record had on me when I was younger. They’re an easy band to clown on, especially around here, but my 14 year old ass needed this record haha. It also paved the way for me to get into The Cure beyond the singles, which I’ll never not be grateful for
