Truly a rough tune for a handful of reasons. Worries me about the full record, hard to believe this is coming from the same person who made “Run away with me”

 

the lyrics are corny but that's obviously what she's going for here. not a fan of the male vocals, but overall i think it's a fun tune.

 

this is really bad but I still have faith in the new album considering I loved Western Wind

Judging by the comments in this thread I was expecting something much worse. It’s a bit silly and kitschy, but it’s not like she’s never done that before.

 

I listened earlier and it was a headscratcher and I just listened to it again now and actually it’s fun as hell lol

carly could write a song about murdering somone in a lake house in canada and as long as it bops, I'd still like it

 

the lyric is good, think the song is kind of meager and it’s certainly no “western wind” but i’m sure it’ll work its way into my affections when the full album is out

Yeah it's not the first cheeky curveball she's thrown at us so while I don't dig this as much as "Western Wind", my hype for the rest of the record is still at a high.

 

This is a fun song. Lyrics are a bit rough but fairly funny.
