  1. it ranks pretty high for me I really like the vibe of it - both of these singles really work well in the context of the album's sequencing

I have a feeling Ben’s vocals are gonna be a little more reserved on this new record..

Seems that way for sure. This song doesn’t really go high at all, it’s not bad tho, growing on me!

Damn, Kamtin did great on bass duties for Whatever Who Cares!

Track is pretty good but I am feeling the restrain on Ben’s voice sadly..

  8. I like this one a bit better than the first, love the guitars, and I think my expectations have shifted enough that the first single is growing on me as well

I'm into it. I think the vocals are intentional here.

This one just has more meaning to me. Obviously looking at the video I'm thinking about his divorce or whatever and it's this huge tragic avalanche to you, but then there's the feeling like well in the grand scheme it means nothing like just as an internally feeling and all.

Is it just me or is the mix on both of these singles unreal good.

It’s wild that I randomly listened to Smile for Them for the very first time maybe like a week before this thread got started. Funny how that works out sometimes.

Holding off on listening to anything until the album is out as I usually do, but curious to hear this after never imagining they’d come back again. And the album title is very interesting. I’m always a sucker for curious song/album titles lol

Intentional - done on purpose; deliberate.

What I mean is that the tone of his voice being softer and subdued worked for the song, is powerful and I felt was done for that effect. Was mostly just being complimentary about a song that I like.
