Yeah, the guys definitely played with a lot of heart tonight. I thought they were washed when they lost the lead. Pinch hitting Haggerty for Kelenic turned out to be a fantastic move! Kelenic needs some more time in Tacoma. He looks absolutely lost at the plate.

 

I'm not sure that Tacoma will do him any good anymore, tbh. He needs to take this offseason and figure out how to hit a baseball. If he can't, then he should be with a team who can afford to be patient with him. The Ms don't have that kind of margin for error.

I used to put Dodgers games on as background noise because Vin had the perfect cadence and he would go on some hilarious tangent about pirate flags or something random. RIP

 

honestly that's kind of how I came to like the Mariners (even though I'm from San Diego and I live in Florida currently lol). When I lived in Seattle the games would always be on the radio and I had to do a lot of driving for my job. Rick Rizz's voice was so soothing that it went from background noise to me being invested because it was so relaxing.
