The gap as far as effort put into guitar tones between California and Nine is massive. Going back to Cali that's the main standout gripe. But yeah it's a regular in the summer album rotation for sure

 

California makes me feel the same way I do when I listen to TOYPAJ. I love it.

"Black Rain" is way too un-blink to exist on a blink record in my opinion. I don't want fart songs in 2019, but a song about church sex abuse coverups on a blink-182 record feels like the pendulum swinging wayyyyyyyy too far in the other direction.
