the 30th anniversary merch sucks, except the hoodie's kinda cool. def going for the Funkos though.

 

To be fair, q101 was hyping this up for days well before the bio change and before everyone else picked it up. I believe her when she says they’re just waiting on the band now.

Thinking about the hoodie and shirt but don't love the neon on black on the t-shirt. Don't really need any more merch with the skankin' rabbit on it after the last few drops though.

 

Yeah, I think most (reasonable) fans have always sort of expected this. Tom will never have the level of commitment to blink that even Matt had and the band will never be "back" with that lineup. A little bit of music, a few special shows and MAYBE a tour for a special occasion is most realistic expectation for some point in the future.

 

That's ... not how it would work though. If they were given the info (they weren't) they'd be given a time and date they could announce the info under embargo. They're just speculating like everyone else with the same "yeah, it's probably happening at some point" obviousness that everyone has at this point.

I didn’t say they have the exclusive announcement. They can be privy through networking connections to when the embargo ends for the outlet that does have the exclusive and like they said are just waiting on that. Every outlet out there has reported on his bio change, they’ve been hyping this up for days on the radio station and the only thinng she referenced happened just last night.

 

How amazing is it that Reddit started the rumors, a radio station read the rumors and created an "announcement" based on the Reddit rumors, and then Reddit gets mad that the rumors aren't true. Amazing.

 

They have no information. They’re just listening to the rumours like everyone else. People have been talking about Tom coming back and the band being active again well before Tom changed his bio.
