Thought they did the Theroy "cash in" perfectly. Same with the Rousey ending. All the wins/loses were practical. Didnt see The Family losing any belts. Didnt see Theroy beating Lashley. Edge wasn't a surprise or really any interest.

 

Was looking into that a few weeks ago, can still get a decently priced ticket but fuck me the hotels.

 

Makes sense that the UK show would do well. They have done a proper big show there in since Summerslam 92.

Some of its not fixable because thats simply how Peacock works too...they have to run X number of ads and that is easily adding 15-20 minutes of stuff at least. But yeah, we really didnt need the Seth/Riddle thing. And hell, the Bayley trio return with the ridiculous long entrance was a bit much.

I gotta imagine they have a plan for that match to be a #1 contendership or something big, because otherwise why would you hold off on it? With Vince, I'd have imagined no way Roman loses...with HHH, I can totally see them going with Drew through the Rumble.

 

Well, if Becky is actually hurt, this would actually be a huge deal. Run Bianca + two mystery partners against the Bayley trio and let the crowd pop at them returning.

I thought they actually powered through some of those pointless segments like Kane announcing the attendance far quicker than they typically was. Even entrances—numerous entrances started before the first entrant even got into the ring (which is totally the right call with an entrance ramp that long)

McIntosh asked Johnny how he felt about NXT 2.0, and he said that he was fine with the change. He said that the wedding felt like a natural ending for The Way, especially with Candice getting pregnant. Johnny said Triple H and Michaels were the first to know Candice was pregnant. He said he had to ask himself what was next after Candice was written off for maternity leave, Lumis and Indi were doing their own thing and Theory left.

Johnny said he wanted to spend the first year of Quill’s life with him and wanted to take time off to do so. McIntosh asks for his thoughts on Triple H being put in charge of creative and whether or not it influences where he’s off to next. Johnny said that he’s kept his eye on both AEW and WWE. He says there are pros and cons to both places and he hasn’t made a decision as to where he’s going yet. He says he’s lucky to be living in a time where there are options and places. He says he wants to protect the element of surprise as we do a couple fan questions.
