Just treated myself to a nice new White OLED, going to pick it up after work :) :)

 

been playing coromon lately which was just recently released on swtich and it has been a really solid monster raising game. obviously inspired by pokemon but made by people who clearly have a genuine love for the series. great for those who like the ds/gba era of pokemon games. i usually stay away from games like these because i dont like the monster designs but this one does a really great job with that.

 

How sad is Digimon survive?

 

About four hours into XC3. Have to stop playing for today :( So good

 

Gonna pick up XC3 and go in blind. Never played the first two but I wanna give it a shot

 

What game? Me and my wife just completed It Takes Two so we need a new game now

This is a great time to jump in, 3 is basically all the good things of 1 and 2 mixed together and polished off perfectly.

 

Not as sad, but it can make you VERY emotional at times.

 

Juggling both XC3 and Digimon Survive rn but good god, I love these games so much

 

I've been reading bad things about Digimon which makes me sad

 

people are just getting angry that it’s a visual novel when it was made clear multiple times by the producers and the marketing that it was a visual novel with tactical RPG elements.

 

good to know, Triangle Strategy is my GotY and it's like a goddamn actual novel so no complaints from me

 

There were definitely some that were big mad about a visual novel that said it was going to be a visual novel and the trailers were mostly clips from a visual novel lol

 

Yeah, I don’t understand the Digimon Survive hate.

Lol a few of the video game content creators made videos complaining about Digimon, gotta take advantage of the gamers that are big madge about walking into a game without doing any research on it whatsoever. Reminds me of when they all did videos on Pokémon unite being pay to win, were all wrong and discouraged people from playing it. I guess being reactionary and toxic is just part of gaming to some extent.

 

Digimon can’t catch a break, man. I do feel like it’s also the poor advertising by Bamco that caused the confusion.
