So excited to replay in 3rd person mode

 

It's hard to articulate what makes BoI so special. It's a game with an ugly premise and ugly visuals (literally poop and blood) but mechanically there is so much to learn and improve on while there also being tons of stuff to unlock that it evolves how you view and play the game, and it never gets boring. I just want to improve and complete new paths to unlock new things.

It took be a little bit to get hooked but once I was I found myself getting addicted to it like 3 times a year. I'll honestly probably play the rest of my life lol.

Monster Train is prob the best deckbuilder -esque game next to Slay the Spire.

Moonlighter and Dreamscaper are both unique in their own way too. All worth checking out.

I own almost all of these games, and I have played almost none of them.

Played 30 mins of XC3 before work, it was fucking spectacular.

played nearly four hours of it immediately after it unlocked, and i am now running on 3 hours of sleep haha

 

Both of my PS4 controllers charging ports are fucked. Guess I'm gonna buy some 3rd party on Amazon.

 

This game looks sick. I want whatever Devolver is on.

Have you tried using a charging dock instead of plugging it in through the top charging port? My PS4 controllers had nonstop problems with the ports and I got sick of it and got a dock that didn't charge through there and it solved my problems. Might end up being a cheaper solution, maybe you've tried it and that's been an issue too but figured I'd offer my 2 cents in case it saves some money or frustration.

 

Well shit. I had no idea that charging stations didn't use the USB. I'll have to get me one of those.

Though my controllers are pretty run down. The Joysticks and buttons aren't nearly as responsive as they used to be. Thousands of hours of Isaac have worn them down pretty bad lol.

 

Makes sense, been there for sure hahaha. Might be better to just replace em in that case but a dock could still be a good investment later nonetheless

 

Going to be rogue of the year, for sure.
