It really does boggle my mind how much leash the Yankees have given some truly abysmal performances the last three, four years. In the regular season, they have absolutely no urgency ever

i think the braves should get soto tbh..but if they can't then he should go to the AL west so i never have to see him again.

 

My guess is Soto doesn't go anywhere until after the season. It's such a big trade, Nats can wait it out for the absolute biggest haul.

 

I think that's probably the most likely although, waiting it out vs dangling him for three postseasons instead of two is an interesting tradeoff
