Three of the last four Marvel films have ended with a character introduction in the credits. So, revealing Doom in the credits to the sequel to one of their biggest movies… sounds about right, lol.

Yea, the new characters in post credits is kind of odd so far. They seem to be characters that would only show up in the next solo film, not a team up film. And sometimes it’s a long time in between those of you aren’t Spider-Man.

it took 6 years for Doc Strange 2. Are we really going to be waiting another 4-6 years for her to pop up again? Hercules probably won’t be around again until 2025 at the earliest. That’s if it even happens. The “Thor will return” card was a surprise to both Taika and Hemsworth. Star Fox, with ETERNALS being a disappointment, is that even gonna happen?

when they did the Maximoff’s in Winter Soldier, they were back then next spring and was the next film set on Earth.

 

I have to admit, I did like it more when the post-credits scenes seemed to be at least somewhat linked to the very next movie.

It seems like a weird place to the end the phase, although I guess Ant-Man was an equally weird place to end Phase 2.
