he supresses hits, doesn’t walk people, good strikeout rate

my hot take for a while has been that Kershaw might be the best pitcher ever. he’s proper Troutian in performance this last decade+

it sucks to compare to the long deads who threw complete games every day but I’d take Kershaw over anyone. Only comparison is Pedro imo

 

Three things about the ejection in Sox/Yanks:

1) Lol Robo umps
2) It was a fine ejection, but I miss the days of managers throwing bases into the crowd or for some reason commando crawling across the mound. Spit on some shoes or something, come on Boone.
3) Whoever was the hitter on that last low strike has the douchiest mustache ever so I feel less guilty about it.
