@brendanmachow I agree that Coconuts and this EP just feel so inorganic. They feel like they are trying so hard to go viral, to be controversial to get people to talk, and not in a progressive creative way.

 

The past 2 records do make this feel jarring. I don't know, just accepting I won't listen to this.

 

@irthesteve exactly. Paint by the numbers shock and awe to get people talking. Capitalizing on the short term. You put it perfectly.

 

If this album wasn't trending on Twitter, I would have missed it. And if this album wasn't what exactly what it says on the tin, it probably wouldn't have trended. Not going to be adding many of these tracks to my public playlists, that's for sure.

I went to a pride show last month and people went bonkers for songs off Slut Pop lol

 

I skipped her set at Coachella this year because I looked at the set list from weekend 1 (I was at weekend 2) and saw that she played the entire Slut Pop EP front to back and I said.... nahhh
