what did that say?

 

I feel strangely unexcited for this, and it's 100% because I just don't want the show to end. Of course I REALLY want to see how it all plays out, but it feels pretty bittersweet going into this last little run of episodes. Especially because I know more crazy/sad shit will probably happen.

 

We all ready for tonight?

I have my expectations tempered as oftentimes the premieres of Saul and BB have been pretty low key affairs with a lot of set up for what's next, but being that it's midseason, and we ended on craziness and all the sneak 'reviews' and tweets, I truly think this will be a wild episode with some actual major developments.

 

Safe to say there will be no slow burn in these last six. And I do not feel prepared

 

Looks like Vince and Peter each get one episode that they wrote and directed as this thing wraps up in August (the last two episodes). I really don't want this to end. I did not watch BB as it aired, but I don't know if I've experienced anticipation and anxiousness like this over a show before. Not in recent memory anyway.

 

Based on the spoilers for tonight, sounds like the episode is a doozy.

 

If one frame of this show ever gets spoiled for me, I'd rage lol

 

BB’s last few episodes had my heart pounding almost the entire time watching them live. The series finale was particularly fun because I got to watch it at a small indie movie theater in town with a small handful of people. We were all on the edges of our seats.

 

For those that DVR this, my DVR was oddly set to record the 10 pm showing and not the 9 pm. Which is even more odd because next week it was correctly set to record the 9 pm and not 10 pm. There are no conflicts so not sure why it did that.

i will say that for a show that's usually really smart, lalo's death was kind of dumb and unrealistic. didn't expect him to go out like that

 

That episode was jam packed. So much going on, it felt like a movie

 

I would say that if we didn’t know Lalo’s fate, I could see them making it a bit more complicated than the route they went with. I’m also convinced now more than ever that we’re getting post BB Kim

 

Howard getting buried in the lab with Lalo is so brutal. Will always be thinking about during the lab scenes next time I rewatch Breaking Bad. And then he'll ultimately get disrespected AGAIN by Walt and Jesse lol

 

I still don't understand what Lalo's ultimate plan was after infiltrating the laundromat/meth lab. Was he just there to take a tour? Was he gonna burn that place down?
