"holly wood" would probably be better choice but again the melodic part... it's dope

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I love 33 but if I had to pick one song as a least favorite on that album it’s that. That just speaks to the quality of SSTB

    yeah good okay Prestigious

    Exactly this

This. I “like” every song on sstb. Every album post that I have at least one song I don’t like at all.

Are people excluding the title track of SSTB in their lists? That would probably be mine, technically it’s a song!

33 has Claudio Sanchez saying my name in it so by default I can't dislike it, I wouldn't anyway but still

And on topic of this album, after giving it another few listens I do prefer Vaxis 1 but Vaxis 2 is some good ass shit, I feel like I have another Queen of the Dark on my hands with Bad Man in that most people don't like it as much as I do lol

Totally with you on this. I guess SSTB is the most consistent in that way.

Mothers of Men is nice and smooth to me, not doing anything spectacular or bad. It’s a good warm up for me when I’m playing guitar though.

    Newbie

I really wish I could in some way convince them to play Elf Tower New Mexico on tour. If I could see it performed live I would be so pumped. Seems like it was only ever done acoustic which is a shame. A full band live version of that song would rip.

33 getting done so dirty smh

HOLD ONTO THE THIIINGS YOU FAVOUR MOOOOOOOOST is the best moment in their discography tbh

I am getting absolutely obsessed with these guys over the last few days, the new album is so good. It's not even on this album but I cannot stop playing Old Flames, I did not remember loving that song nearly as much when that album first came out but upon revisit I think it might be one of my all time favorites by them

I really love this record. Someone said that your feelings about A Disappearing Act will determine how you feel about the album on the whole, and that's proven to be accurate in my case. I really liked Vaxis I, but some of the tracks could've been trimmed down by a minute or two. This remedies that, but also the title track is some of my favorite proggier stuff they've done. The whole 3 song closing stretch is wonderful.
