bc i never watched wwe except for the occasional ppv with friends that we half-paid attention to, i'd never seen toni wrestle before she joined aew, and i just wanted to celebrate her smooth af ddt

 

toni storm's whole look + music is one of the best in AEW. hopefully they book the women's division better (lol nah they won't)

 

it is pretty cool that aew has managed to make their women's title holder into the 3rd best woman on the roster who is now in a tag team????

 

As a non-Moxley fan, this brings a smile to my face.

About time and makes me excited for some AEW/Stardom stuff. Also just read the spoilers for Rampage. Death Before Dishonor card is straight fire so far.

just incredible storytelling with The Acclaimed and Assboys - Acclaimed were due for the face turn since they are so damn likable and great at what they do and they should be a top babyface team and this story also makes us care about the Bill Ass's dumb weiner kids too

 

Its honestly the perfect use of a jobber team. No world where they will go over The Acclaimed, and honestly I was a little worried the pairing was gonna keep The Acclaimed down for a while, but now there's a reason to care about them for a month or two more before they are back on Dark.

 

It feels too soon. But I guess that probably means its the right time to do it rather than two months from now when "scissor me daddyo" has started to get stale.

Bowens holding up his fingers with a look on of betrayal on his face only for Billy to beat him down was both hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time.

I'm just not sure, even as faces, where the Acclaimed go from here. With a tag divison as completely stacked as AEW's is, will they ever be anything more than guys who are there to hype up the crowd?

Impact sent me a survey that would net me a $25 gift card but their roster is so deflated, none of their shirts are worth getting lol.

 

Like it was posted above - they automatically fill the void Jungle Express left behind

 

Who’s the only other notable face tag team? Swerve/Lee? I guess the Hardy’s but I’m sure they will be on the back burner for a while. It seems like an over saturated division but the acclaimed will be fine lol

FTR, bucks, lucha brothers, any combination of dark order/house of black/best friends stables can fill in tag matches too. I don’t think the tag division is TOO crowded but tbh aside from their entrance, the acclaimed in the ring haven’t done much for me. Maybe I haven’t seen enough of them in-ring to judge but I’m not clamoring to watch max caster’s ring work. I also agree that I felt the break up was too soon.

 

Its mostly Impact specific guys. Not guys with a ton of other exposure. Once I get the gift card, I'll offer it up here if someone really wants it.

 

I have a feeling there will be a Luchasaurus swerve, like he is only playing heel.
