Jay and Silent Bob reboot was…fine. I don’t think i’ve truly liked anything by him since Clerks 2 though.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Got some chuckles out of the trailer. My friend and I were debating going to New Jersey for the first date of the tour, but now that it's a Fathom Event, I'll just stay local. Regardless, cautiously optimistic in checking it out.

  3. Tusk rules lol. Our college group watches that together every Halloween

Cop Out was really boring considering the talent involved and the last one of his I saw

rewatched Zach and Miri recently and it's very of the time, like they do a speedrun on slurs

Cannot process Reboot above Amy and Strike Back at all lol

Hosers and Reboot would probably be on a list of twenty worst movies I've watched

  8. Amy is interesting for sure, but it isn't a good film. And I've just never been a fan of Strike Back tbh. Stoner humor isn't my fave. But I actually thought Reboot had a surprising amount of heart and self-awareness as opposed to just watching like, two cartoon characters just smoke weed or whatever.

Yoga Hosers I can't defend, but it is so dumb and bonkers and I saw it with the same friends I watch Tusk with every year, so I just have fonder memories of it I guess.

Amy is definitely overrated but it comes down to Kevin's daughter being just too unwatchable for me. I always definitely appreciated the charm of his friends and family in his films, but she's too bad for me to get past

I believe you're confusing Chasing Amy with Jersey Girl, which is definitely not overrated and very much rated horribly lol

  15. I like Harley ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't think she's been the problem so much as Smith's writing over the past 10-15 years

Never got around to Reboot, but honestly kinda wanna see this one. Seems like it could be the most charming version of a late career Kevin Smith film, which… I know, how much that’s worth is certainly debatable, lol. But, idk, I have a soft spot for that doofus in small doses.

I'll go to bat for the top 3 any day. Barely remember the next 4. And Reboot was weird - there were parts where the acting and/or script were so terrible, but I liked it more than I didn't by the end. Felt like a rough draft of a pretty good Askewniverse flick.

Cop Out, Red State, and Jersey Girl were all mediocre to bad. Tusk was just hilariously awful and I can't imagine I'll ever see Hosers.

Chasing Amy is a clear #1 for me. Clerks is a classic, and I adore Red State. I really enjoy Mallrats, Dogma, and Zack & Miri, and they’re basically interchangeable in rank to me. Clerks II and Strike Back are fine.

Jersey Girl is charming and Reboot is fun. Neither are good movies, but they’re comforting to watch when I’m depressed. Cop Out was boring, and I strongly dislike body horror so I’m not a fan of Tusk. Yoga Hosers is unwatchable.

    Die rad.

just got my clerks 3 tickets super excited. I live only 40 minutes from the Secrete Stash and Red Bank, but wasnt willing to pay $150 for the live show. $15 to see it in a theater was good enough for me

the first half of Tusk is sick until Johnny Depp shows up and turns it into a cartoon

Reboot isn't even a movie, it's just a bunch of meta references smooshed together.

I personally enjoyed Reboot all like 6 times Ive seen it. At first when watching in theater I didnt love it until the end. I realized then that it actually had some great callbacks and showed something most KS movies dont show; heart.
