Embeds seem a little better this morning.

 

I should have waited a few more days to fill up my tank I guess.

 

I see we're already moving on from the grocery discussion, but I want to add that while my family primarily buys from Publix and Costco, we also buy from Trader Joe's (and Whole Paycheck).

Love their chili and their Bambas, especially the ones filled with hazelnut. Addicting.

 

Let's keep this one guy safe, but fuck the rest of the American citizens just trying to enjoy a parade.

If there’s any hockey fans in here…have a feeling you might see Russia try to push the US to extradite Karil Kaprizov in exchange for Brittney Griner.

 

My favorite tidbit about Aldi is that they put several barcodes on each item so the cashiers can scan them from almost any angle and get them scanned quickly

It’s one of those things you probably don’t realize until someone tells you but it’s super cool imo lol

Russia has issued a warrant for his arrest this morning for falsifying military documents that allowed him to leave Russia early for the NHL.

Anyone else like actually scared? Like there are days my anxiety is through the roof and I can't even bring myself to leave the house for a day or two.

Mine really started 3 years ago after I tore my ACL and couldn't move/run as fast as I used to...and this is when a lot of store shootings started to happen. I was terrified of going to a store alone in fear I wouldn't be able to run away from a shooter and I would die. I had my friend who is a police officer take me to the shooting range and learned how to properly hold, handle and shoot a gun. in the off change one was ever presented to me like the fucking sword in Harry Potter, I would be able to protect myself and everyone else around me if needed. I have no want or need to own one, but at least I know how to use it the right/safe way.

But now I just don't even want to leave the house some days. why bother? I got all the food, drinks, snacks and weed to get me through a good month, lol. Ugh.

Have I said I hate it here yet today?

 

Look up agoraphobia help groups, I have to imagine it’s becoming a bigger issue post pandemic. I relate to a lot of this and taking steps to feel safer has made a big improvement.
