it's WAY too big of venues imo

3EB played a local food fair here last year and tickets were $15 (Lit, Redjumpsuit Apparatus and Hoobastank also played) - I just don't see them filling up 10k cap venues with only TBS as support and $40 lawn tickets.

Yeah, I just checked the available tickets at my local date of the Demi tour, and according to the Iowa State Fair Website there are over 1000 GA tickets left (out of 1600) and hundreds of grandstand seats left, for a show that happens next month. Too bad for Demi, because they seem really excited about this album cycle.

yep people would be all over that tour if prices weren’t outrageous. My wife refuses to let me spend nearly $55 for lawn and $70 for the cheapest seats after fees

Unfortunately it rained and Third Eye Blind didn't get to play, but nonetheless it was still pretty good for 15 bucks.

Looks like the cost of touring/inflation has finally caught up to ticket sales post-pandemic.

I don’t think people in the music industry get the consumers. Sure people love going to concerts in the summer and typically ticket sales for bands are stronger in the summer. But what they don’t necessarily get is that typically they have Groupons, buy one get one, flash sales, and usually moderately priced tickets to fill up these sheds as opposed to smaller venues.

People want value and the ticket prices on these shows are just outrageous. People aren’t just gonna go to go. People aren’t gonna pay $55 for a lawn ticket to see TEB and TBS. These venues this summer for a lot of these tours are just empty empty venues.

I saw a advertised flash sale over the weekend for $50 Everclear tickets….$50 was the sale price, meaning cheaper than a normal ticket. Like how much were they originally?

They're playing a small amphitheater at a tiny town near me about 2 hours north of Sacramento and its selling poorly. $100 (before fees) for GA right in the front and the rest ranges from $30-75.

I have an actual good metal tour to look forward to in my area if I can get the night off from parenting.
