If it were a year ago I’d say that would be a pretty good package but both of their stock is at an all time low

  7. If that's the case, please send MPJ to Charlotte.

  8. Looks like Philly might be out on Gordon.

Reggie Bullock shared posts saying he was headed to the Sixers

I don’t think he’s on the verge of being traded but us being a 3rd team is possiblr

  13. If the cost of tampering is a 2nd round pick and a fine then teams are just going to consider it the cost of doing business. They clearly aren’t intimidated by those types of punishments.

  17. It's starting to look like the Hornets will take a backseat this upcoming season. The news about Miles really threw a wrench into their plans. They don't have the space to really do much in free agency and the roster isn't really in a position where it'd make sense to dive into the luxury tax.

I don't think purposefully tanking would be smart, but just accept it's going to be a step backwards this season. Let Lamelo run the show and see which other young players standout. Kai Jones, James Bouknight, Mark Williams are guys I want to see get a healthy amount of minutes. I could see them dumping Hayward somewhere but it'd be smarter to do it at the deadline than in the offseason. We won't be worse than some of these teams that are openly tanking but we will probably finish low enough to have decent odds at winning the lottery for Wembanyama.

Just regroup, clear some cap, and be patient.

i really think Lamelo might be the first guy to turn down the rookie extension

  19. Eh, I don’t think so. Obviously things can change, but everything he’s said so far leads me to believe he wants to stay. He’s said multiple times he wants to stay for a long time.

Plus, he’ll be what, 21 years old after year 3 when he’s up for that extension? It’s way too early in his career to expect to be a title contender. Even when we drafted him we weren’t on a timeline to be a contender now.

It sucks but it could ultimately workout in the long run. Get another year in the lottery, wait out the Hayward contract, and you don’t have to overpay Miles.
